Hey, it’s me, Alison Kate.

I’m a New York City based designer and everything I create is one of one and made by hand from recycled materials. Did you know ~92 million tons of textile waste are thrown away every year? Yeah, well, I’m single handedly trying to stop that… somehow. I figured this was a good place to start.

I started designing in 2020 when I realized I wanted clothes that didn’t exist yet. I credit Fashion Institute of Technology, UAL, MOMA, and the New York Sewing Center for the knowledge and skills to create what I do. I also credit my parents for passing on artistic and creative genetics (if that’s a thing).

At the end of the day, my goal is to keep textiles out of the landfill and bring eccentricity to society by creating intricate and unique pieces that express your individual style.
